Ethel I. Strite, 82, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 12, 2016, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born December 30, 1933, in Maugansville, MD, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Ida Ebersole Martin. She owned and operated Strite’s Fabric Shoppe in Fayetteville for fifteen years and managed World Treasures in Hagerstown, MD for ten years. Mrs. Strite also operated a catering business for thirty years. She attended World Harvest Outreach in Chambersburg and her hobbies included cooking and sewing. She had a great gift of hospitality.
